“Mike brings a wealth of engineering expertise and a valuable skill set to support Matsuura’s substantial growth in 5-axis automated manufacturing solutions,” said Shawn Buboltz, VP Technical Services.
Bruegger will train and support distributor engineers and Matsuura customers in the operation and troubleshooting of all Matsuura machining centers for machine software, machining applications, cutting conditions, control functions and Fanuc 5-axis functions.
Bruegger has considerable experience with various roles in CNC Machining, Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management and Customer Support.

Matsuura Application Engineers also perform time studies, test cuts, CAM, and manual programming, create CAD models, setup and execute machine cutting demos for both showroom machines and technical workshops/open houses, as well as troubleshoot machine functions and Matsuura software.
Bruegger earned a Machine Tool Diploma and CNC Programming Certificate from St. Paul Technical College.
