St. Paul, MN (September 6, 2018) — Matsuura Machinery USA, Inc., announces a first-time machining event in CT: Bridging the Skills Gap with Automation for Aerospace and Medical Machining at Yamazen, Inc.’s Northeast Technical Center, September 25th, with the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA).
The event will include informative presentations and demonstrations to educate Matsuura customers on how they can effortlessly utilize automation in machine tools to bridge the skills gap in the Aerospace and Medical Fields.
The event will be held at Yamazen Inc.’s state-of-the-art showroom in Newington, CT. Yamazen focuses on high-end Japanese machine tools that provide their customers with many automation options.
David Hudson, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Matsuura Machinery USA and Gary Frick, Director/Manager of Yamazen Automation Group will discuss why automation is not the future of manufacturing in New England, but rather a requirement to compete with local competitors, as well as countries with very low labor rates.
Hudson will also lead a discussion on how Matsuura reduces labor time by palletizing high-end aerospace and medical parts.
