Matsuura is exhibiting at EMO in Hall 15, Stand B50
As Europe’s most prominent machine tool exhibition, the bi-annual event hosts more than 1,750 exhibitors from 42 countries.
Matsuura will showcase:
From Matsuura’s range of horizontal machining centers, the powerful H.Plus-405 will be on show. The compact powerhouse is equipped with a tool magazine for 240 tools and a 6-fold pallet changer and is optimally designed for the automatic production of medium batch sizes with highest accuracy and excellent surface quality.
MATSUURA presents the MAM72-42V with a tower storage of 32 pallets and up to 530 tool places to the German audience for the first time. The highly automated machine produces workpieces up to Ø 420 x H 315 mm and weighing up to 80 kg unmanned around the clock – and all this in a very small footprint. Users from a wide range of industries benefit from the combination of easy handling with first-class accessibility and high cutting performance.
The popular MX-330 5-axis machining center with 10 pallets will be presented by Matsuura for the first time at EMO in a new design with light elements and an innovative control system. The MX-330 combines excellent milling properties with simple, ergonomic and safe handling. Workpieces of the size Ø 330 x H 320 mm and a weight of up to 80 kg can be machined efficiently with little manpower. This makes the machine perfectly suited for the economical production of individual parts and small batches
A large work area, optimum accessibility, and high milling capacities – the Matsuura MX- 520 produces workpieces of size Ø 520 x H 350 mm and up to 200 kg. The automation package with 4-fold pallet storage and 120 tool places completes the flexible product range of the MX series. Like the MX-330, this model is also presented in a new design. In addition, it impresses with higher speeds for the A and C axes and the intelligent safety system for collision avoidance is already integrated in the new control.
Achieve lights out manufacturing, improve time to market, eliminate outsourcing expenses, reduce costs, and minimize EDM/Polishing with Matsuura’s LUMEX Technology. The LUMEX Series is a powder bed metal Additive Manufacturing platform with machining capability.
With multiple customer case studies, all showing 25% to 45% reductions in cycle time reductions, the LUMEX Technology is transformative in the industry. Matsuura’s hybrid technologies achieve machining accuracy and surface finish comparable to machining centers, surpassing the capability of conventional metal 3D printers.
Matsuura’s LUMEX Technology is redefining the manufacturing process. The LUMEX series manufactures parts at near net shape, 3D objects with complex interior structures and creates components with hollows, 3D meshes and free-form surfaces. In addition, deep ribs, impossible to machine with machining centers, can be produced without using EDMs. This advanced technology is gaining attention not only in the die and mold industry but also in the aircraft and medical industries.
