Chicago, IL (September 13, 2014) — Matsuura Machinery USA is presenting the all-new CUBLEX-35 5-Axis Multi-tasking Machining Center in Booth S-8640 in the South Hall at the International Manufacturing Technology Show at Chicago’s McCormick Place.
The Matsuura CUBLEX-35 5-Axis Multi-tasking Machining Center provides the ultimate level of process integration from turning, machining and grinding by one chucking.
“The CUBLEX-35 delivers high-performance and high-accuracy CNC milling, turning and optional grinding on the same machine platform, providing true multi-tasking functionality,” said Stuart Busman, Matsuura Machinery USA Regional Manager.
“The CUBLEX-35 allows for multiple faces of the part to be machined in one setup. Optional Cylindrical and Surface Grinding is available, as well as a PC32 Pallet Tower and a 320 Tool matrix Magazine,” Busman added.
Matsuura Machinery is operating an Aircraft Shaft Demo on the CUBLEX-35 5-Axis Multi-tasking Machining Center at IMTS. The demo highlights the machine’s machining, turning and grinding capabilities, the ability to machine through the use of a tailstock for cycle time reduction and better surface finish, and the machining of complex work pieces.
