Matsuura Machinery USA, Inc. announced changes to its executive leadership team as the company increases its strategic focus on delivering unmatched excellence in 5-axis, vertical, horizontal, linear motor, multi-tasking CNC machine tools, and machines with a powder bed metal AM platform.
BRAD BAKER
As of December 31, 2023, Brad Baker, Matsuura’s VP of Finance and Administration, will retire after 11 years with the organization.
“I would like to recognize the impact Brad has made across our business and culture,” said Billy Bogue, Acting President of Matsuura Machinery USA, Inc.
“Since the establishment of Matsuura USA, Brad generated exceptional contributions to our company and provided tremendous mentorship and inspiration. He has been a positive driving force, and we wish him the best as he begins a new and exciting chapter in life,” Bogue continued.
Baker graduated from Metropolitan State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business.
SUE MICHAL
Sue Michal, current Director of Finance and Administration, is promoted to Executive VP, Finance & Administration.
“Sue has been a cornerstone of Matsuura’s growth since she joined the team in 2022,” Bogue explained. “She continues to drive excellence and deliver focused execution of our business strategy.”
Michal is a Certified Public Accountant in Minnesota. She is a graduate of the University of South Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
RYAN MYERS
Ryan Myers is joining Matsuura USA as Vice President, Sales & Marketing. Myers is a seasoned leader with nearly 20 years of initiating and delivering sustained results and prosperous growth to businesses in the manufacturing sector.
“Our organization’s success is directly linked to building cohesive teams and empowering them to be successful,” Bogue said. “Ryan is an accomplished professional with an impressive track record in the machine tool industry. With his diverse experience and wide range of roles within the industry, our new VP of Sales & Marketing commands a wealth of knowledge and expertise.”
Myers has leveraged his experiences in strategically developing and leading teams for profitability to successfully drive customer success and market penetration. He most recently served as Vice President/Sales Director for DMG MORI USA.
Myers is a graduate of Northeastern Oklahoma State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and a Minor in Biology.
