St. Paul, MN (October 26, 2018) — Matsuura Machinery USA, Inc., an innovator in the development of high-speed machining and the manufacture of automated, unmanned high accuracy CNC machine tools, announces the promotion of Kelly Rose to Director of Marketing. Rose has managed Matsuura USA’s corporate marketing plan and approach, including the company’s public-facing assets since 2013.
“With over five years of successfully representing Matsuura Machinery USA Inc., Kelly brings a wide range of proven results, experience and strategic leadership to this important role,” said Matsuura Machinery USA Inc. President, Craig St. John.
Rose is responsible for the company’s overall branding and image, marketing and communications strategies, public relations activities and planning, development and implementation of all marketing messages. She directs Matsuura USA’s advertising and works cross-functionally to develop strategy and budgeting, and execute online, print and digital campaigns.
“Kelly built and executed a communications and content strategy that has increased Matsuura’s brand awareness, establishing Matsuura’s social media platforms and dominance in the industry. Her tenacity in social media recently earned Matsuura USA a social media award from GIE Media Manufacturing Group,” St. John added.
Rose earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing Management, Global Management and Finance from Queens University of Charlotte. She also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing and a Minor in Communications with Print Journalism focus from Clemson University.
“The position of marketing director is critical to delivering our ambitious plans at Matsuura USA, and Kelly brings outstanding qualities, skills and experience to the task. This underscores the importance that we place on building a team with the right blend of expertise and proficiencies at Matsuura USA,” St. John explained.
In 5 years, Matsuura USA has more than doubled in staff at their St. Paul, MN headquarters. The Service Department has grown and strengthened to meet the needs of the company’s soaring customer base, including: Support Representatives; Dedicated Phone Representatives; Service Coordinators; and Remote Service Engineers in Ohio, California, Arizona and North Carolina. The Matsuura USA Parts department has also doubled in size since the doors opened in 2013.
The Sales Department has greatly expanded as the demand for Matsuura’s high speed and high precision 5-axis CNC machine tools surge the US. Since 2013, the sales team has more than tripled in size.
Additional team members have also been added to support the Matsuura LUMEX Avance Series and manage the Matsuura LUMEX Laboratory and demonstration facility.
