St. Paul, MN (December 23, 2014) — Matsuura Machinery USA regretfully announces the passing of Mr. Masanori Matsuura, Chairman and former President of Matsuura Machinery Corporation
“We at Matsuura Machinery USA sadly announce that Mr. Masanori Matsuura has passed away after battling a long-term illness,” said John Schwartz, President of Matsuura Machinery USA
Mr. Matsuura joined Matsuura Machinery Corporation in June of 1985. He began serving as Vice-President of the company in October 1973. Mr. Matsuura was later named President of Matsuura Machinery Corporation in October 1985. Mr. Matsuura most recently served as Chairman of the Board from March 2007 until his passing.
“Mr. Matsuura was a strong believer in learning concepts and absorbing ideas from others. He enjoyed traveling to foreign countries and observing how others went about solving a given problem. He was a strong, devoted leader of the Matsuura Corporation and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him,” Schwartz added.
